Tea Time

Tea has contributed enormously to the development of our civilisation. Paths were found in order to reach further destinations and imbue inhabitants of unknown places with the incredible effects of this potion.

The story of tea began in China thousands of years ago and as every great discovery, it happened by nature’s innocent intervention. A wind blew, a leaf danced off its branch and fell onto a boiling water pot, where its flavours spread across the liquid transforming it into a magical drink. The tree was a Camellia sinensis, and the resulting drink was what we now call ‘tea’.

As many such lucky accidents, tea has curved the course of history by bringing people together in their primary necessity to share with others the goodness they found, by healing, by spoiling, by delighting.

Mystical Dragon thanks you for reading and invites you to choose from our Organic Tea Bundle the tea which shall inspire your days and guide your steps with care.

With Heart in Mind

These days seems that the border between the polarities of everything we do and feel become more solid instead of being blurred by zooming out and seeing things from a more detached position.

While we stress about what drives our actions, we tend to think we need to chose, mind or heart, fear or love. We force ourselves to chose one of the sides, but the mentality which drives us to chose sides is an expired mentality which only contributes to internalised environmental disbalance. We become confused and feel betrayed, when we abandon one side in favour of the other.

Fear and Love are inseparable, as the night and the day, perpetually inter-changing the front seat. If we allow ourselves to believe that Mind can operate on its own and Heart can survive without mind, we are obviously lacking a bit of factual evidence of the functionality of every kind of being. Emotions and intellect work as one, their power greater within each one of us who practices harmony, fairness and self-acceptance.

Flood through

As you may have noticed, our Mystical Dragon has gone under water. A flood that covered the whole surface of our store pushed us to close down for a complete renewal of our space. And while Xenia and Melanie are bringing into play their artistically caring paintbrush touches, we have decided to dive deeper into the waters and find out more about the spiritual symbolism of the ‘FLOOD’.

Our visibly materialised environment has a real big part in the process of making life a bit more understandable. From our bodies to our houses, from our veins to our pipes and rivers.

Water is a primary symbol of emotion. Very so often, when life gets overwhelming, we feel as if we are drowning, a pressure in the chest that makes breathing a bit problematic; and when the wheel of fates rotates to it’s initial beginning, we feel as if we can inhale deeper than ever before, that our chest have got themselves a new life-supply.

But what happens when water is more of a flood? Emotions can be overwhelming, especially because their unconscious routes are sometimes hard to trace. Their vibration shape our reality while sending us messages in order to be able to read the story of our life and guide us into reaching more positive outcomes of our actions. An emotional blockage can lead to more violet emotional outbursts, forced, and therefore implying a high chance of causing further negative situations, for ourselves or/and others. Perpetually paying attention to deeper emotional roots, those primal screams we hear from time to time from our underbed monsters can prevent further tensions and blockages.

After all, emotions, as anything in our universe, are ambivalent. If we choose to give them attention and space, we might get a good chance of having a dance with our monster rather than running or being completely paralysed by our fears. Energy can change polarity if we choose to let it flow freely through our vessels.

The Saturn Finger

Few days ago, while trying to collect all her things and run to a train-station, she hit her left middle toe so hard, that the initial pain of hitting lasted for one hour and a half. That’s how long she had, in order to make it to the train, in time. The sudden pain combined with a hate for saying goodbye to her lover made her burst into such a cry, as if – she thought herself – somebody died. The pain went aways right before the train arrived. She felt it. And also thought, what does the ‘middle finger’ symbolise?

Today, she made herself a tea and forgot to use the metal teabag so she threw all the multiple herbs, dried and handpicked into the after-boiling water. After she waited for the majority of leaves to settle to the bottom of the pot, she decided to poor the tea through the metal teabag which was just not big enough and it’s holes weren’t big enough. But she did it and somehow a big amount of the first poor wrapped itself around her left middle finger. As if it all the water molecules decided to use her middle finger as a slide onto the table. So, while noticing the pain hours later, when touching something hot, she thought ‘well, if this is not a sign, what is?’

And so, here are the results of her research into the symbolism of left middle toe and left middle finger. As a good journalist, she collected information from at least three online sources. Here are the results:

An accident is almost always a way for your subconscious mind to give a sign to your conscious mind. Hurting your finger is no exception.

Left middle toe:

The middle toe is the Fire Toe. It is known as the Action toe, the Passion Toe and the “Poor Me” Toe. This toe reveals a person’s procrastination tendencies, how directive they are, the likelihood of their completing a task, what kind of lover they might be, and if they have any tendencies to feel sorry for themselves.

This had nothing to do with the hit, but she read it anyway: If your third toe is longer, you tend to have a more dynamic personality and are successful in your field of work. This toe is linked with your energy and willpower, as well as your drive. You tend to be a perfectionist. If the third toe is shorter, you live a simpler life and enjoy the small things. Chilling out is your go-to. In acupuncture, the points and energy pathways operate equally on both sides of the body. In many cases, acupuncture and acupressure treatments won’t differentiate between the left and right side of the body.

Left middle finger:

Your right hand rules your masculine energy and your left is represents your feminine side. Here are some traits of the left hand: Intuitive, Caring, Artistic, Nurturing, Soft, Gentle, Receiving.

The middle finger is the finger of discipline and balance. The middle finger acts as a brake, as a sobering influence, as the voice of caution and responsibility. Yes, you guessed it, the middle finger is ruled by Saturn, the stern but wise old king of karma and cosmic justice. The middle finger represents individuality of a person, and is related to our purpose in life. Located in the middle, it symbolises a balanced life. Wearing a ring on this finger would help you to add balance to your life. It enables an individual to differentiate between right and wrong. Preferred stones for the middle finger are quartz and coral.

Conclusions: less fear, less anger, more love. Therefore, more balance. Less excuses, more individual action.

Different perspectives on Spirituality

Spirituality is about seeking a meaningful connection with something bigger than yourself, which can result in positive emotions, such as peace, awe, contentment, gratitude, and acceptance.

Spirituality is a broad concept with room for many perspectives. In general, it includes a sense of connection to something bigger than ourselves, and it typically involves a search for meaning in life. Some find in spirituality the purpose of their life, others seek meaning through their connections to nature or art.

There are numerous definitions of spirituality. Jungian therapist Jeremiah Abrams defines spirituality as a “holy longing, a yearning to know the meaning of our lives, to have a connection with the transpersonal.

The journey toward wholeness is a common motif in some definitions of spirituality. Psychotherapist Molly Young Brown writes: “When we expand our awareness, strengthen our center, clarify our purpose, transform our inner demons, develop our will and make conscious choices, we are moving toward deeper connection with our spiritual self.”

What is “spiritual” is best understood next to it’s opposite: Material. “Material” refers to what is physical and can be perceived through sensory perception.  Spiritual refers to what is non-material. What is spiritual is perceived through awareness. This may sound mystical and non-sensical but it is actually very common and normal. Everyone has the capacity to see honesty, beauty, joy, intelligence, love and wisdom.  These are aspects of life that are not material yet they constitute the substance of what makes life meaningful and worth living.

Gaea (Gaia), then and now

For many, a spirituality of the Earth has quickly become equated with Gaia worship – but this, suggests well-known writer and holistic thinker David Spangler, may be a serious wrong turn. Gaia is the name of the ancient Greek goddess of the Earth, and as a name it was recently revived to refer to the hypothesis formed by James Lovelock and Lynn Margulis, who postulate that the whole biosphere may be alive in that the Earth’s life forms are themselves responsible for regulating the conditions that make life on the planet possible.

‘It is this tradition that Gaia reinvokes in our culture. However, a reinvocation is not the same as a reincarnation. The sense of a living earth enjoyed and practiced by earlier, non-industrial cultures grew out of living experience and a closeness to nature that our culture has set aside. It was woven into the fabric of life and culture. This is not true for us.’ (David Spangler)

Gaea was a primal Greek goddess, one of the deities that governed the universe before the Titans. She symbolised the Earth, and was the mother of everything.

Today, Gaia is referred to as the symbol of the feminine, the creation, the Earth and more. It is not surprising that we are looking for various names to call what already has multiple existing names. Maybe we wish to find a combination of multiple subjective aspects or connect with one concept or deity more, but let us not forget that a subjective interpretation can never mirror the general and a concept cannot encapsulate all of the multitude of perspectives.

Intuition, a short journey into

Intuition is indeed challenging to define, despite the huge role it plays in our everyday lives. Steve Jobs called it “more powerful than intellect.” But however we put it into words, we all, well, intuitively know just what it is.

I define intuition as the subtle knowing without ever having any idea why you know it,” as Sophy Burnham, bestselling author of The Art of Intuition tells. “It’s different from thinking, it’s different from logic or analysis … It’s a knowing without knowing.”

No matter how we define it, it is clear that it is inborn in any of us, we can tackle into it and understand it in our own terms. It is guiding us on every step, as an alternative way of manifesting life. Intuition consists of a wide variety of ways we get information without using known logical or rational processes.

‘The intuitive mind is a sacred gift and the rational mind is a faithful servant. We have created a society that honors the servant and has forgotten the gift.’ tells us Albert Einstein.

Therefore, let us remember the gift and sometimes take those risks which teleport us to the unknown, where everything is possible and where all new comes from.

Aromatherapy, in and about

For over 5,000 years, aromatherapy has been a trusted practice among cultures spanning the globe. Natural healers turn to aromatherapy for the many antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of aromatic essential oils. So what is aromatherapy used for? Some of the most common reasons that people use it, include managing pain, improving sleep quality, reducing stress, overcoming symptoms of depression, soothing sore joints and even battling the effects of cancer.

The actual term “aromatherapy,” however, wasn’t coined until 1928, by Rene-Maurice Gattefosse, a French chemist. He first used the oils to treat wounds during World War I, and later continued experimenting with them. He found that certain oils had different healing properties, and he classified each oil as antiseptic, stimulating, calming, antitoxic, etc., depending on its uses.

People respond to the sense of smell on an emotional level more strongly than with any other sense. In fact, a single aroma can trigger forgotten memories and induce feelings similar to those experienced at that time.

Although much of aromatherapy’s benefits are based on anecdotal evidence, aromatherapy is receiving more attention from researchers as an effective and safe treatment option.

Whoof, 2018, whoof!

2018 Chinese New Year is arriving on February 16, 2018 and ends February 4th, 2019,. That is the 4715th Chinese year. The zodiac sign of 2018 is the Dog. According to the Chinese Horoscope calendar, 2018 is the Male Earth Dog year. Brown is connected to the earth. Therefore, 2018 is also called the year of the Brown Dog. An Earth Dog year only comes around once every 60 years. This will be the first Year of the Dog in twelve years. 2018 is further designated as an Earth year, which is one of the five elements that are also cycled through in the Chinese zodiac.

This is a year to redefine some of the fundamental pillars of our life, such as loyalty, friendship and community. Considering that this is a year of the mountain dog, we must be vigilant when protecting the sheep from the wolves. Let us be the help for those in need of help.

Overall, the general consensus is that technology is moving forward rapidly while there is political turmoil across the world. Innovation would impact on the social order, some of it positively and some of it negatively. Virtually all countries would be faced with a decision – either change for the higher good or descend into chaos. New ideologies would make themselves known. In general, for all in this year, those in business will not do so well, while those in the sciences and the arts will flourish.

The Fourth Noble Truth, a bit about

The Fourth Noble Truth is that you end suffering by walking the Eightfold Path, which is a way of life embodying these virtues:

  • Right Understanding
  • Right Intention
  • Right Speech
  • Right Action
  • Right Livelihood
  • Right Effort
  • Right Mindfulness
  • Right Concentration

If we avoid harming all other living beings, if we sharpen and focus our mind, and if we gain wisdom, each of us can reach perfect happiness, the end of all misery.

Understanding of the first truth, understanding of the second truth, understanding of the third truth, understanding of the fourth truth. That is right understanding. It is true to say that Buddha taught the middle path. It is true to say also, that the Buddha taught the Four Noble Truths. Whether you say the Four Noble Truths or the Middle Path, it is the same. Why? In the Middle Path the Four Noble Truths are included. That is called knowledge, absence of ignorance. What is ignorance? Not knowing the Four Noble Truths is ignorance. Not knowing dukkha, not knowing its cause, not knowing its end, not knowing the path leading to the end is ignorance. What is knowledge? Knowledge is knowing these four things.

When there is ignorance there is confusion. That is another word. Ignorance is called avijja. Confusion is called moha. When we do not know the truth, we build up theories.

The Third Noble Truth, a bit about

The third Noble Truth is that there is emancipation, liberation, freedom from suffering, from the continuity of dukkha. This is called the Noble Truth of the Cessation of dukkha (Dukkhanirodha-ariyasacca), which is Nibbāna, more popularly known in its Sanskrit form of Nirvāṇa.

The Third Noble Truth comes directly from the Second one: The end of suffering comes with the end of clinging.

The epitome of non-clinging is equanimity. According to a teacher, U Pandita, “In the deepest forms of insight, we see that things change so quickly that we can’t hold onto anything, and eventually the mind lets go of clinging. Letting go brings equanimity; the greater the letting go, the deeper the equanimity.”

There are five stages in this process of this liberation. They are, the extinction of craving, the extinction of clinging, the extinction of the effects of karma, the extinction of rebirth and the extinction of rebirth, cessation of decay, death, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, grief and despair.

When a person passes through these five stages, his craving ceases and he finds permanent freedom from all forms of suffering. He becomes liberated from the world of impermanence and change. He does not return nor re-enter into the wheel of existence.

The Second Noble Truth, a bit about

The Second Noble Truth explains the origins of dukkha (dukkha samudaya). The Second Truth often is summarized as “Dukkha is caused by desire,” but there’s more to it than that.

Buddha described three kinds of tanha — craving for sensual pleasure, craving for becoming, craving for non-becoming.

Sensual desire (kama tanha) is easy to spot. We all know what it’s like to want to eat one french fry after another because we crave the taste, not because we are hungry. An example of craving for becoming (bhava tanha) would be a desire to be famous or powerful. Craving for non-becoming (vibhava tanha) is a desire to get rid of something.

It may be that the things we crave are not harmful things. We might crave becoming a philanthropist, or a monk, or a doctor. It’s the craving that’s the problem, not the thing craved. This is a very important distinction. The Second Truth is not telling us we have to give up what we love and enjoy in life. Instead, the Second Truth asks us to look deeper into the nature of craving and how we relate to the things we love and enjoy.

The Second Noble Truth does not ask us to withdraw from the world and cut ourselves off from everything we enjoy and everyone we love. To do so would just be more craving — becoming or not-becoming. Instead, it asks us to enjoy and to love without clinging; without possessing, grasping, trying to manipulate.

The First Noble Truth, a bit about

The study of Buddhism begins with the Four Noble Truths. The First Noble Truth often is the first thing people hear about Buddhism, and often it is translated into English as “life is suffering.”

In Sanskrit and Pali, the First Noble Truth is expressed as dukkha sacca (Sanskrit) or dukkha-satya (Pali), meaning “the truth of dukkha.” Dukkha is the Pali/Sanskrit word that has often been translated as “suffering.”

The First Noble Truth, then, is all about dukkha, whatever that is. To understand this truth, be open to more than one view of what dukkha may be. Dukkha can mean suffering, but it can also encompass the gross forms of pain, illness, and trauma we can all imagine, such as a broken leg, stomach flu, grappling with the devastation of a hurricane or the violent death of a loved one — or getting the diagnosis of a terminal disease. It also includes milder but common forms of discomfort and distress, like long hours of work, feeling let down by partner, a headache, feeling frustrated, disappointed, hurt, inadequate, depressed, upset, etc.

The Buddha didn’t leave us with a belief system, but with a path. The path begins by acknowledging dukkha and seeing it for what it is. We stop running away from what bothers us and pretending the unease isn’t there. We stop assigning blame or being angry because life isn’t what we think it should be.

Theravadin teacher Ajahn Sumedho advises us to not identify with the suffering:

“The ignorant person says, ‘I’m suffering. I don’t want to suffer. I meditate and I go on retreats to get out of suffering, but I’m still suffering and I don’t want to suffer…. How can I get out of suffering? What can I do to get rid of it?’ But that is not the First Noble Truth; it is not: ‘I am suffering and I want to end it.’ The insight is, ‘There is suffering’… The insight is simply the acknowledgment that there is this suffering without making it personal.” [From The Four Noble Truths (Amaravati Publications), page 9]

Crown chakra, about and affirmations

Also known as the Sahasrara chakra, the crown chakra is the energy center of spiritualism and universal knowledge that links you to the Divine.

Because of its location, the crown chakra is closely associated with the brain and the whole nervous system.

The crown chakra is associated with the transcendence of our limitations, whether they are personal or bound to space and time. It is where the paradox becomes norm, where seemingly opposites are one. Some describe this chakra as the gateway to the cosmic self or the divine self, to universal consciousness.

It is the place where time and timelessness intersect and where death and eternal life meet.

The challenge of this chakra is to liberate the spirit – open to the divine – and at the same time stay firmly rooted deep in the ground.

  • I am part of the Divine
  • I honor the Divine within me
  • I seek to understand and to learn from my life experiences
  • I cherish my spirit
  • I seek experiences that nourish my spirit
  • I listen to the wisdom of universe
  • I trust my intuition

Third Eye chakra, about and affirmations

The function of the third eye chakra is driven by the principle of openness and imagination. Located on the forehead, between the eyebrows, it is the center of intuition and foresight.

This chakra is related to the “supreme element”, which is the combination of all the elements in their pure form.

The third eye chakra is an instrument to perceive the more subtle qualities of reality. It goes beyond the more physical senses into the realm of subtle energies. Sustaining awareness of third eye chakra energy might require focus and the ability to relax into a different way of seeing.

The “way of the third eye” is seeing everything as it is from a point of “witness” or “observer”, or from simply being mindful – moment by moment. The Third Eye is not only the seat of wisdom, but also a seat of conscience. This is where you not only see what is going on, but you also know what it means. This is where your sense of justice and your ethics originate.

  • I am in touch with my inner guidance.
  • I listen to my deepest wisdom.
  • I seek to understand and to learn from my life experiences.
  • I am wise, intuitive, and connected with my inner guide.
  • I nurture my spirit.
  • I listen to the wisdom of elders.
  • I trust my intuition.

Throat chakra, about and affirmations

Located at the center of the neck at the level of the throat, it is the passage of the energy between the lower parts of the body and the head. The function of the Throat chakra is driven by the principle of expression and communication.

Opening the throat chakra can greatly help align your vision with reality and release pressure that may affect the heart chakra that is located just below.

As a communication center, it not only allows you to express who you are and what you stand for, but also allows you to listen deeply to another.

The energy of this chakra allows you to seek knowledge that is true, beyond limitations of time and space, beyond cultural and family conditioning.

  • I am open, clear, and honest in my communication.
  • I have a right to speak my truth.
  • I communicate my feelings with ease.
  • I express myself creatively through speech, writing, or art.
  • I love to share my experiences and wisdom. I know when it is time to listen.
  • I express my gratitude towards life.
  • I listen to my body and my feelings to know what my truth is.

Heart chakra, about and affirmations

The heart chakra, or Anahata in its original Sanskrit name, colors our life with compassion, love, and beauty. Driven by the principles of transformation and integration, the fourth energy center is said to bridge earthly and spiritual aspirations.

When the heart chakra is open, you may feel being deeply connected, the harmonious exchange of energy with all that is around you, and the appreciation of beauty. However, when there’s a blockage in the heart chakra, you may experience difficulties in your relating with others, such as excessive jealousy, codependency, or being closed down, withdrawn.

The Heart chakra is all about connecting and relating. The emphasis here is on love, giving and receiving, and how open we are in relationships.

The energy of anahata allows us to recognize that we are part of something larger, that we are interconnected within an intricate web of relationships extending through life and the universe.

  • I love the beauty of nature and the animal world. I forgive myself.
  • I am open to love and kindness.
  • I am grateful for all the challenges that helped me to transform and open up to love.
  • I am connected with other human beings.
  • I feel a sense of unity with nature and animals.
  • I accept things as they are.
  • I am peaceful.

Solar Plexus Chakra, about and affirmations

Radiate your power in the world,” could say the solar plexus chakra.

Characterized by the expression of will, personal power, and mental abilities, the energy of the third chakra or Manipura in Sanskrit is mobilized when we assert ourselves in the world.

Closely connected to the digestive system, especially the gastric and hypogastric plexi, its main function is to help transform matter into energy to fuel your body.

On one side, a balanced solar plexus chakra makes it easy to find balance between your personal power and harmonious relationships with others; on the other side, an imbalanced third chakra could undermine your self-esteem and social life.

The gift of this chakra is sensing your personal power, being confident, responsible, and reliable.

The main challenge for the third chakra is to use your personal power in a balanced manner. It means being proactive rather then reactive or inactive.

The message of the third chakra is: You have the power to choose.

  • I stand up for myself.
  • I am strong and courageous.
  • I am worthy of love, kindness, and respect.
  • I honor my self.
  • I choose healthy relationships.
  • I am authentic.
  • I direct my own life.

Sacral chakra, about and affirmations

The sacral chakra is the second chakra. It is associated with the emotional body, sensuality, and creativity. The sacral chakra is associated with the realm of emotions. It’s the center of our feelings and sensations. It’s particularly active in our sexuality and the expression of our sensual and sexual desires.

When the sacral chakra is balanced, the relationship with the world and other people is centered around nurturing, pleasure, harmonious exchange.

The energy of this chakra allows you to let go, to move, and to feel change and transformation occurring within your body.

Passion is the fuel of creative energy. Everything you create, a poem, a drawing, or a website, originates from the energy of second chakra.

  • I nourish my body with healthy food and clean water.

  • My sexuality is sacred.

Root Chakra, about and affirmations

The root chakra provides the foundation on which we build our life. It supports us in growing and feeling safe into exploring all the aspects of life.

Muladhara is the most instinctual of all chakras – it is your survival center. Your fight and flight response is initiated from this chakra. This is your primal, animal nature. A blocked root chakra may turn into behaviors ruled mainly by fear.  War, famine, natural disasters, and any events that threaten our basic survival, are all recorded within energies of the first chakra. These memories are imprinted in the subtle body and are passed down from generation to generation creating unconscious generational patterns.

The main idea is to work at growing your ”roots” in a safe and comfortable environment.

Affirmations are a great way to begin to heal negative programming that can be embeded in our subtle body.

  • I have what I need
  • I am grounded, stable, and standing on my own two feet
  • I nurture my body with healthy food, clean water, exercise, relaxation, and connection with nature
  • I am grateful for all the challenges that helped me to grow and transform
  • I trust in the goodness of life
  • I trust myself
  • I love life

Shifting Energy, short knowhow guide

Shifting your own energy is an important skill for energy healers and energetically sensitive people to have. Because it’s easy to get your energy in a knot.

Be aware of your body. Ask yourself what you are feeling in your body right now. Do this often, knowing that your body is wise and full of information that will help you.

Allow yourself to be aware of your own power to shift your energy. Give thanks to your higher power if you feel called to do that. When you commit to getting in touch with your inner world more, when you allow your feelings, when you embark on this journey of engaging more consciously with your energy, just embrace whatever happens, day to day and moment to moment.

Once you start uncovering the variety of beliefs and feelings that may not be serving you, you tend to start manifesting things that will show them to you, that will help you process them, that will give you an opportunity to strengthen the energies you want more of, that will let you see if you’re really changing or just paying lip service.

I am Sharon, one of the spokespersons for the SUPREME STAR COUNCIL. They have been instrumental in our planetary evolution through eons of time and are the initiators and ambassadors for the many Star systems in our Universe and represent 12 separate Star systems. Those of us that are Star Seeds are carrying out missions of transforming Spiritual energies on this planet we inhabit. The Council is, and will offer messages from time to time. They are excited to offer words of encouragement to all bringing about evolutionary changes to humankind through your spiritual consciousness.
“The turmoil occurring in and on your beautiful planet is pushing and moving your spiritual growth faster and faster forward than any other time in your planets history. You are evolving to a point that has been your destiny since your planet was inhabited eons of time ago. You are at that pinnacle of evolution never seen before or accomplished. You all are those points of light lighting up the Universe and filling up those dark spaces with your spiritual energies. This has helped heal the karma that your planet incurred when it was formed and inhabited by all life forms. In many centuries the karmic debt has been repaid, then incurred again and now the laws are being reformed in an attempt to break free. So much is happening it’s impossible to comprehend as we are channeling this information. We have dispatched more of our Star Sisters and Brothers to your beautiful planet and they are excited to be a part of your spiritual evolution and come in peace and love for all.”

Blessings

Dreamcatchers, a short story of

Many legends tell the story of the Dreamcatcher. Its name already tells a lot about it’s actual practical meaning. It’s role is to create a filter for the dreamer, a protection which tricks the bad dreams into a maze where they get lost while the good ones find their way to slide towards the dreamer.

Originally weaved by native American tribes, it passed on towards all corners of the globe speaking to all spiritual beings through its archetypal elements. We live in a reality where everyone is trying to make her/his dreams come true, give them shape. But, as one learns through the process of dreaming, they rather offer guidance through signs, they are the language through which reality operates, manifests itself and combines into form. One doesn’t have to be initiated to understand the symbolism of such precious objects.

A dreamcatcher begins with a circle, the great planet on which we walk from one pole to the other. The weaving of a spider, which protects us from bothering guests and teaches us repetition, trust and patience. Feathers, representing the spirit of the bird, the flight, the over-view, the great picture, the great dance of forces which move everything. When in wind a dreamcatcher can be seen as a kite, riding the waves of the air and waiting for another great catch. May your dreams guide you with care to the golden fields of your awakening.

But what is Intention?

At the quantum mechanical level (spiritual) the entire universe is simply the movement of energy and information. As humans… we are privileged because we are capable of training our minds to become consciously aware of the energy & information that we want to create or dis-create in our lives. Change is brought about by conscious attention and intention!

But what is intention?
Late 14c., entencioun, “purpose, design, aim or object; will, wish, desire, that which is intended,”. From Old French entencion “intent, purpose, aspiration; will; thought”. From Latin intentionem (nominative intentio) “a stretching out, straining, exertion, effort; attention,” noun of action from intendere “to turn one’s attention,” literally “to stretch out”.

Setting intention, at least according to Buddhist teachings, is quite different than goal making. It is not oriented toward a future outcome. Instead, it is a path or practice that is focused on how you are “being” in the present moment. Your attention is on the everpresent “now” in the constantly changing flow of life. You set your intentions based on understanding what matters most to you and make a commitment to align your worldly actions with your inner values. For you to live a life with pure intentions you must choose the options that come to you that support your soul. When you have the intention to do something, ask yourself, is it out of love for yourself and for others, is it kind, is it truthful, is it creative and will it attract abundance to my life. Also question if it does allow you to see the expansiveness of who you are, and will it attract good people into your life.

A good time to set your intentions for the day is first thing when you wake in the morning. How do you want your day to flow? You might set the intention to be kind to everyone you encounter for that day and that is indeed a beautiful intention.

Libra – bringing the Divine to Earth

Each zodiac sign has a special symbol, or glyph, that’s associated with the mythology behind it. Libra is symbolized by the Scales of justice and is the only non-living symbol. Almost all of the 12 zodiac signs are depicted by an animal, with the exception of Gemini, Virgo and Libra. The Libra symbol also has a unique meaning.

The Libra sign symbol is usually depicted as scales that are weighed in order to produce balance and harmony. Libra dates typically fall from September 23 to October 22. Partnership, romance, balance and fairness are the main Libra traits. Thus, the Libra symbol of the Scales expresses the fairness and equality of this zodiac sign.

Air is symbolic of a lot of things: The unseen, communication, subtle power to name a few.

Libra’s have keen intuition. They can pick up on unseen vibrations, like emotions and thoughts. Just keep in mind…Libra’s have the power to drastically change environments through their mental processes. Opals are symbolic of creativity, inspiration and expression….elements most Libra’s have no problem exhibiting. Opals can grant Libra’s liberation from conflicting thoughts.

Libra’s glyph represent scales. It’s symbolic of balance, something Libra’s are intimately connected with. The glyph itself is a bit reminiscent of the Egyptian ankh. The loop on the top bar is symbolic of the sun. The bar itself is symbolic of the horizon. This is a highly balanced expression. Libra’s are constantly straddling one side against another. They can often be found in the state of “in-between”. If a Libra can get in a liminal state of being, they can have the world in their hands. Too often a Libra flips from one side to the other, creating a pendulum swing of thought and emotions. But being in that state of in-between allows Libra to be in the presence of pure potential. A very powerful place to be. So Libra’s, next time your flopping between ‘this’ or ‘that’ – contemplate your glyph. Take that liminal symbol of the sun nested on the horizon as an invitation to suspend yourself in the beautiful realm of ‘in-between’. It’s a great place to be. The connection of the two speaks of our need to bring the divine to Earth, to create beauty in our physical reality and live the divine love in our everyday life.

NEW MOON significance

When we look up to the skies and see a tiny curved light known as a new moon, this means that the Moon, the Earth and the Sun are positioned in a line and that the intense energy created by this alignment facilitates new beginnings.

New Moons are a great time to set intentions for things you’d like to create, develop, cultivate, make manifest. It’s a good idea to spend some time reflecting in the days leading up to the new Moon. Knowing exactly what you want to draw into your life is not always easy. Part of preparing for the new Moon is making sure you are clear about your intentions. Your wishes must not be focused on other people, you cannot change others, but you can wish and make changes to your own behavior which will positively influence and encourage the change in another person.

Therefore, take this time to reflect with your Self, to be more open and honest to your own being and more precise in what needs to happen in order for your life to become a more relevantly lived experience. New Moon helps us plant a seed, and as any seed – during the remaining time of the lunar cycle it shall require our devotion, attention and willingness to act, change and adapt to the new transformations which our wishes and intentions might bring along. Therefore be mindful and focus on the centre of your being, your heart chakra which is the most fruitful ground for your seed to be rooted in.

Don’t forget to check on our NEW MOON CLASSES and find out more on how to attract positivity in your life.

New Message from Supreme Star Council

Hello all Galactic Travellers in this Universe we call Home.

I am Sharon, one of the spokespersons for the SUPREME STAR COUNCIL. They have been instrumental in our planetary evolution through eons of time by being the initiators and ambassadors for the many Star systems un our Universe and represent 12 separate Star systems. Those of us who are Star Seeds are carrying out missions of transforming Spiritual energies on this planet we now inhabit.

The Council is offering messages starting with the following and will continue each month. They are exciting to offer words of encouragement to all of you bringing about evolutionary changes to humankind through your spiritual consciousness. Thank you!

The chaos has, of course, caused ripples of energies in the Universe. Cause and effect are changing and re-arranging these energies bringing up all the old, dis-assembling it and bringing in the new filling of those voids. This flux has also re-arranged particles of light and matter physically and allowed us to reach higher vibrations in our spiritual quest. The chaos in current world, as noticed, as provided on opportunity to eliminate old and clean out closets, so to speak, and has brought us all closer on both sides to address what need to be and is being changed. It feels scary as we are looking with spiritual eyes, not comfortable at this juncture of time and feeling it deeply, however, understanding that this is the point in time that we all have agreed to bring about needed changes spiritually to heal mankind and planet Earth to evolve to a higher level.”

Blessings!

Clear Quartz, the Light of Mankind

From ancient times to the present day, quartz crystals have been a source of Light to mankind. Highly valued by spiritual leaders and healers as well as scientists, the unique attributes of quartz have played a key role in mankind’ evolutionary development. For all its variety, when most people speak of “crystals”, they are usually referring to Rock Crystal (Clear Quartz), the six-sided prisms of pure light and energy known as the Perfect Jewel. In its sparkling light is contained the entire color spectrum.

In the metaphysical world, Clear Quartz crystals are the supreme gift of Mother Earth. Even the smallest is imbued with the properties of a master healer teacher. Clear Quartz draws off negative energy of all kinds, neutralising background radiation, including electromagnetic smog or petrochemical emanations. It balances and revitalises the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual planes. It aids concentration and unlocks memory. Stimulates the immune system and brings the body into balance.

“Quartz crystals are the manifestation of the Creator’s finest hour of expression. The are windows of light with many facets which show the myriad dimensions of life created from cosmic dust in an ever expanding universe. Divine plan as foreordained that all expanding life revolve around one common denominator, quartz crystal. Through frozen solidified light all creation could be monitored and assisted through the evolutionary process.” – Beverly Criswell “Quartz Crystals: A Celestial Point of View”

Amethyst (Geode) ‘s journey through history

Amethyst is the birthstone for February, and is associated with the signs of Pisces, Virgo, Aquarius, and Capricorn. It is referred to as a Spiritual Stone because its colour violet is same as that of the crown chakra. Meditation with it helps one in reaching the spiritual aspect of the universe.

The name Amethyst derives from the Greek word ametusthos, meaning “not intoxicated,” and comes from an ancient legend. The wine god Bacchus, angry over an insult and determined to avenge himself decreed the first person he should meet would be devoured by his tigers. The unfortunate mortal happened to be a beautiful maiden named Amethyst on her way to worship at the shrine of Diana. As the ferocious beasts sprang, she sought the protection of the goddess and was saved by being turned into a clear, white crystal. Bacchus, regretting his cruelty, poured the juice of his grapes over the stone as an offering, giving the gem its lovely purple hue.

In today’s world, Amethyst is still a remarkable stone of spirituality and contentment, known for its metaphysical abilities to still the mind and inspire an enhanced meditative state. Its inherent high frequency purifies the aura of any negative energy or attachments, and creates a protective shield of Light around the body, allowing one to remain clear and centered while opening to spiritual direction. Amethyst stimulates the Third Eye, Crown and Etheric Chakras enhancing cognitive perception as well as accelerating the development of intuitive and psychic ability. It initiates wisdom and greater understanding, and is a stone of comfort for those grieving the loss of a loved one.

A concretion is hard, compact mass of rock that often forms around decaying organic matter.Septarian Concretion or Septarians nodule were formed during the Cretaceous Period, around 50 to 70 million years ago. Sea levels were much higher then and the Gulf of Mexico reached inland to Southern Utah where many of the septarian nodules are found. Rainbows! What do they tell us?

Rainbows speak directly to our heart and soul, filling us with awe and energies of liquid love pouring all around us. The rainbow intuitively tells us to hold onto hope, to believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that sacred blessings open to us when we are following our hearts desire. Be true to yourself and your dreams and know that the Universe is conspiring on your behalf.

Rainbows are a powerful symbol, prevalent in multiple creation myths and they also stand for powerful stuff like: Creation, divinity, good luck, duality and liminal spaces. One of the most intense references to the rainbow is found in Hindu and Buddhist Tantra. Apparently, those who have surpassed their earthly ties are in a position to achieve the highest meditative state, and experience the “rainbow body”.

The rainbow is comprised of seven different colors. Each of these colors is vibrant and beautiful, and each one is different than the next. This conveys a beautiful message of inclusiveness and cohesion. It demonstrates how beautiful diversity can be. For this reason, rainbow symbol has been adopted by many groups or demographics that pursue equality. The rainbow meaning teaches us to embrace our own differences and the differences of those around us.

Friendship, what is it about?

Friendships are incredible bonds which we have either with humans or any other being, animate or inanimate. Friendship does not have boundaries, anyone or anything can be our friend. But then, if it’s not related entirely to receiving support, understanding and compassion in a verbal manner, what is it really about?

On one hand, what we are perpetually searching for from our birth is to get back to the same feeling of safeness as we had before we came into the world. The feeling of unconditionality and permanent support. It is indeed a great paradox that usually those are found quite rarely in a blood family environment, but this lack is probably one of the reasons due to which we begin exploring the exterior world and look for those bonds which can not be necessarily explained yet they are entirely felt and their effect on our lives is simply incredible. When we find a friend, be it a bee or a stone or an element of nature, our evolution springs forward in such a rapid way that it is undeniable we have reached a safe environment, we feel protected and we feel potent.

Therefore, friendship goes beyond the human element, it is free of societal parameters and of whatever we want to make out of it. No matter who or what is your best friend, find always reasons to thank them…for the simple fact that together you can look at the skies and say nothing for hours, while your mind expands beyond saneness and it’s…oh, so fine!

We, at Mystical Dragon, cherish friendships in all their forms. Find friendship gifts in our store!
